Michael Yang

Michael Yang began his career as a Forecasting Analyst with Minnegasco in Minnesota, which was later acquired by Reliant Energy, now known as CenterPoint Energy. In 2008, he relocated to Houston, Texas, and has served as the Supply Planning Manager in the Gas Supply group since 2012.<br /><br />His primary responsibilities include short-term daily throughput modeling, long-term budget planning, design day modeling, gas supply portfolio optimization, and pipeline capacity analysis. Additionally, he supports rate case filings, regulatory reporting, annual gas supply planning, and responding to information requests.<br /><br />Michael has been utilizing MetrixND for forecasting since the early 2000s and began using MetrixIDR in 2019.
