Making Waves at Ozwater 2023: Exploring the Latest Innovations in Water Management

May 09, 2023

Water is one of the most precious resources on the planet, and it’s essential for cities and utilities to manage it carefully. Itron is thrilled to be in Sydney, Australia from May 10 – 12 as a Stream Sponsor and an exhibitor at the country’s premier water exposition and conference, Ozwater 2023!

We are proud to be a trusted partner of cities and utilities across the globe in managing our world’s most precious resource. Itron has water solutions for an industry in transition and deep expertise to help utilities solve their most pressing challenges today – with the vision and technological leadership to equip them for the challenges of tomorrow.

Explore Modern Water Solutions with Itron in booth G12:

As utilities and communities move toward climate adaptation, resilient water management becomes critical to address water scarcity issues arising from population growth and extreme weather conditions. In booth G12, we’ll be showcasing our latest innovation, AMI Essentials for Water, which is an end-to-end water solution that helps utilities and cities make every drop count. AMI Essentials combines Itron’s next generation of ultrasonic water meter IntelisTM wSourceTM NB-IoT and Itron’s TemetraTM digital platform with integrated NB-IoT device management and analysis functions. Setting the stage for new standards of metrology excellence in harsh environmental conditions and charting the course for more efficient non-revenue water initiatives, this is an open and flexible standard-based, end-to-end platform focused on addressing water conservation and revenue protection plans.

A main focus for Itron is helping utilities and cities achieve network efficiency. At Ozwater 2023, attendees can look forward to learning about the cutting-edge capabilities of Itron’s ultrasonic water meter Intelis wSource, which is engineered to maintain the highest level of accuracy over its entire lifetime, connect easily to several data collection systems and generate extensive data from the water network.

Business models and infrastructure needs are changing as more renewables come onto the grid, more regions are impacted by water scarcity and more communities are investing in smart technologies. That’s where intelligent connectivity comes into play. At Ozwater 2023, attendees will learn about our strategy to address the growing challenges utilities are experiencing. Rather than a one-size-fits-all network approach, Itron leaders will share about our flexible platform that enables the right communications technology to optimize performance, security and cost – supporting the use cases our customers care about most.

Asset management, revenue protection, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and customer service are top of mind for water providers across the globe and will be also addressed in booth G12 at Ozwater 2023. By holistically optimizing distribution operations and leveraging solutions like hydraulic modeling software, pressure management and pressure sensing, we can help utilities transform their network into a smart meter network with Temetra Analysis. To learn more about the outcomes Temetra enables, register for a live demonstration in the Itron booth here

We’d love to connect at Ozwater for a meeting or private demo and explore how Itron’s water solutions can help your utility make the most of every drop. Request a demo today and we’ll see you in Australia!
