AGA 2025: Leading the Gas Edge Intelligence Evolution

April 30, 2025

For years, limited visibility and control at the edge of the gas distribution network has made it harder for utilities to deliver safe, reliable and affordable natural gas to the communities they serve. On top of that, aging infrastructure, increasing regulatory demands, a shifting workforce and siloed data are challenging both daily operations and long-term planning. To stay ahead, gas utilities are becoming more connected, intelligent and resilient. Join us at the bi-annual AGA Operations Conference expo to see how you can be part of the movement.

The bi-annual AGA Operations Conference expo is the industry’s premier gathering of natural gas utility and transmission company leaders from across the globe. This year, attendees will get a firsthand look at how Itron’s end-to-end solutions meet the needs of an industry in transition. Stop by booth #1201, May 6-8 in Aurora, Colorado, to explore the full range of innovation we’re bringing to the show:

  • Gas Edge: Transform your gas distribution network from a one-way delivery mechanism to an interactive energy network, enhancing safety and efficiency with real-time data and insights at the edge of the distribution network.
  • Revenue Assurance: Swiftly detect and resolve revenue leakage with user-friendly tools while maintaining a positive customer focus.
  • Gas Distribution Safety: Visually render alarms and events such as high-flow and pressure, allowing for quick and efficient response times
  • AMI Essentials: Unlock value-based outcomes with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems that improve billing accuracy, customer service and operational visibility.
  • Intelis Ultrasonic Metering: Prioritize safety with high-flow and pressure alarms, temperature sensors, air detection capabilities and an integrated shut-off valve.
  • AMR to AMI: Seamlessly transition from automated meter reading to AMI to enhance safety and reduce operational expenses.
  • Intelligent Connectivity: Cost-effectively connect and integrate gas network devices for real-time monitoring and control, strengthening system performance, reliability and resilience.
