Experience
Scott Drury began his three-decade career in the utility industry in 1986 at San Diego Gas & Electric, a subsidiary of Sempra (NYSE: “SRE”). Throughout his tenure, he held a variety of senior leadership roles across supply chain, transmission and distribution, safety emergency management and operations. His executive leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion from 2011 to 2015, Chief Energy Supply Officer from 2015 to 2016 and President from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, he became Chief Executive Officer of Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), also a subsidiary of Sempra and the largest natural gas utility in North America. During his time at Sempra's California utilities, he improved customer service and safety performance, earned national recognition for innovation in wildfire risk reduction and advanced Sempra’s clean energy commitments while delivering superior value to shareholders.
Mr. Drury's experience in executive management, financial oversight, risk mitigation, and two decades as an Itron customer offers the Board invaluable industry knowledge and customer perspective.
