Itron Launches Temetra® for North America, Revolutionizing Mobile Data Collection
Intelligent Cloud-based Mobile Data Collection Solution Set to Transform How Utilities Perform Mobile Meter Reading
LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — Sept. 27, 2018 — Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), which is innovating the way utilities and cities manage energy and water, today announced the launch of its Temetra® solution for North America. Temetra is a cloud-based mobile meter data collection solution, which transforms how utilities gather meter data by providing powerful new functionality through a streamlined web-based interface.
Temetra combines Itron’s decades of experience with innovative new technologies and powerful new functionality such as the ability to dynamically create and assign routes based on meter reader location and work load. Taking advantage of mapping functionality built into the user interface, the solution also monitors the status of both meters and meter readers in the field to dramatically improve both efficiency and safety. In addition, the cloud-based nature of the software lowers utility costs associated with having to maintain a locally installed application.
The solution is integrated with Itron Mobile to give users a complete, cutting-edge mobile data collection package. The Itron Mobile app is compatible with Android, Apple iOS and Windows 10 devices and collects reads using the powerful MC3 radio for drive-by operations and the new handheld Itron Mobile Radio for walk-by operations.

Temetra will be available for purchase by North American water utilities in Q3 2019 with support for gas and electric utilities to follow.
