Itron Executives to Ring Opening Bell at NASDAQ
LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.—May 23, 2011—Itron Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), a leading technology provider to the utility industry, announced today that members of its executive management team will ring the opening bell at NASDAQ on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Representing Itron at the event will be president and CEO Malcolm Unsworth and various members of his leadership team.
The ceremony will take place at the NASDAQ MarketSite Studio in Times Square New York, and can be viewed live online starting at 9:15 a.m. ET.
The ceremonial ringing of the bell precedes Itron's 2011 Investor Day for analysts and institutional investors, which will be held Thursday, May 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET at The Roosevelt Hotel. Investor Day will include presentations by Itron's executive management team on the company's vision, market opportunities and strategy for growth in the global energy and water markets.
