David Olchowiski

David Olchowski is currently Manager, Design Engineering for the newly formed PHI Outdoor Lighting (ODL) team. David began his career as an Engineer, working for Exelon in 2011 at Baltimore Gas & Electric (BGE). He spent five years working in various departments including AMI Meter Engineering, Emergency Preparedness, and Customer Reliability Support. After supporting BGE through its 2012 merger with Exelon (Constellation/Exelon), David moved down to Pepco Holdings (PHI) to assist through its merger in 2016 (PHI/Exelon). David led the Reliability Programs team from 2016-2021, serving as Category Manager and overseeing Pepco’s $250M System Performance and Corrective Maintenance portfolios. From 2021-2023, David moved to Regional Distribution Engineering where he led a diverse team of Engineers, Designers, Tech Specialists, and Supervisors that executed planned Capital investment work through the lifecycle of the job, from initiation, design/engineering, to construction. In 2024, David took on a new challenge helping support the creation of the newly created ODL team, which aims to bring together several streetlighting work streams for improved efficiency.
