Itron Positioned for Ability to Execute in Leading Analyst Firm’s Meter Data Management Magic Quadrant Report

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — December 21, 2010 — Itron Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI) announced today that its Itron Enterprise Edition™ Meter Data Management (IEE MDM) solution has been recognized by Gartner, Inc., in its Magic Quadrant for Meter Data Management Products study, and Itron’s ability to execute garnered placement in the report. Ability to execute is determined primarily through a combination of factors such as product functionality and architecture, ability to scale, market share, as well as corporate viability and customer experience.
