IUW Knowledge Center - Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

As part of IUW, Itron experts and partners are exhibiting multiple technologies at the Knowledge Center. We spoke with John Knuth regarding Itron’s Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. As electric vehicles (EV) gain popularity, smart cities will be filled with charging stations that have to work with the electric grid. Cities can leverage Itron’s grid intelligence and advanced metrology to help balance vehicle charging demand with load by incentivizing consumers with dynamic rates and charging programs throughout the day.
