Itron’s Integrated Energy Forecasting Framework

In today’s marketplace, incorporating the multitude of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) can make producing an accurate energy demand forecast very challenging. Amid this increasingly complex business, regulatory and technological environment, Itron pioneered the integration of DER resource forecasts into the real-time load forecasts that system operators require to manage the grid daily.

Recently, this concept of an Integrated Energy Forecasting Framework (IEFF) was extended to long-term load forecasting. Read more about Itron’s new approach to long-term energy forecasting in our white paper on the Integrated Energy Forecasting Framework.
