Jenifer Picciurro has more than 21 years of experience with the Las Vegas Valley Water District in Customer Care and Field Services. She is currently the supervisor over the Choice Connect AMI system, Billing, and Large Account Management which covers over 1.5 million customers. She has spent her entire career with the reading system as it has developed from a walk-by, drive-by to AMI system, from the meter/endpoint to the back-office processes. She has experience with Field Collections System upgrade including hardware (MC3) and IEE files. Jenifer, along with her LVVWD colleagues and another local utility, helped design and evaluate the beta version of Itron Field Tools and then later lead the deployment with IFT and the Itron Mobile Radio. She was co-lead on the Itron Choice Connect AMI conversion of the Las Vegas Valley for over 440,000 ERTs, supporting the infrastructure installs, applications such as NAA, and internal file processing including the MDI add/update/remove. She oversees the meter decode values and templates as they translate into our CIS. Jenifer leads projects using the AMI data and Itron Analytics, including proactive maintenance automation, conservation initiatives and customer data presentment and will support a future Temetra implementation. Her current role has allowed her to connect the metering side with the billing system for a full circle meter to cash life cycle.
